 Goals of the Hancock County GOP

• Lower taxes to stimulate our economy
• Smaller, not larger, federal government and bureaucracy, but less regulations
• More favorable climate for job creation in West Virginia
• Less government intrusion in private industry:  automotive and financial sectors in particular
• Education of you young people in principles that have made this country prosperous for over two hundred years.    Capitalism, not socialism               Promote self reliance, not dependency
• maintain a stronger national defense:  not obtained by slashing defense budget
• Preseve our 2nd amendment:  gun rights
• Hands off in dictating "what's good for us", e.g., tobacco, Big Macs and soft drinks
• A real energy policy meaning drilling for more of our oil and building more nuclear power plants
• Get people involved in promoting our objectives
